The Beetroot Shot

Beetroot has been proven to help sports endurance and really helps oxygenate the blood and aid recovery, in juice form it is absorbed by the body fast and effectively.

  • Total time: 5 Minutes
  • Servings: Makes 2 shots
  • Requires: Juicer, chopping board, knife.

Ingredients

The Beetroot Shot – Makes 2 Shots:

  • 1 small fresh beetroot
  • 1/2 a lime
  • 1 golden delicious apple

Method

Method:

  • Juice all of the ingredients at once, packing the lemon and ginger in-between the apple, which has been cut in half
  • Serve in shot glasses and enjoy first thing in the morning
