What is the 7 Day Plant Based Challenge?
I recently challenged four people to take part in a small experiment to see how they would each benefit from swapping their usual eating habits with eating raw, plant-based foods for an entire week. All of the meals and snacks were freshly prepared each day–all they had to do was follow the times of when to eat and drink a certain food and reap the endless benefits.
My four contestants had various backgrounds: a 30 weeks pregnant fitness trainer, a long-term vegetarian, a lady with a small history of poor health and a very busy businessman. I wanted to see if they noticed three key things:
- Would they have increased energy?
- Could they be convinced that healthy doesn’t have to be boring?
- Would this way of eating fit easily into their lives?
They each followed my bespoke menu for the duration of the week and it goes without saying that the experiment was a success with fantastic feedback and awesome results.
