What is the Plant-based Food Programme?

5 days’ worth of healthy meals and fresh juices, all made fresh from scratch and delivered to you. 

With the Plant-based Food Programme you will get:

3 meals each day

(breakfast, lunch and dinner)

1 juice & 1 smoothie daily

(500ml each)

Daily snacks

(nuts, veggies, desserts)

All the meals, juices, smoothies and snacks are made using 100% fresh, locally sourced ingredients. 

The programme is based on the principle of eating little and often. Each meal, drink and snack throughout every given day is labelled with a recommended time to be consumed at. In this way I want to make sure that your food is spaced out nicely for the day, to make things easier for you.

However, these are recommended times, so feel free to go with how you feel and follow that feeling. If you feel too full by the time of your next meal, you can postpone it. If you feel hungry during the meals, first make sure you don’t confuse your hunger for thirst, and second feel free to eat raw foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts or seeds to make sure you keep your diet as healthy as possible during the week.

At the moment, the programme runs once a month, Monday to Friday, with a weekend add-on available upon request. The packages are delivered to your door in 3 batches (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday).

DAY ONE

Breakfast – 9am: Pink Pancakes (beetroot pancakes served with 1/2 a banana, blueberry compote and plant-based yoghurt)

Juice – 11am: The Recharger (apple, beetroot, lemon, kale, ginger)

Lunch – 1pm: Creamy tomato, red pepper and cashew nut gazpacho

Smoothie – 3pm: The Purifier (carrot, apple, lime, celery and avocado)

Snack – 5pm: Activated tamari, chilli and ginger almonds

Dinner – 7pm: Sweet potato and quinoa salad with a garlic fried pak choi, beansprouts and pomegranate dressed with a sweet chilli and tamari oil

 

DAY TWO

Breakfast – 9am: Blueberry and Almond Smoothie Bowl with banana, muesli and candied pecan nuts on

Juice – 11am: The Mineraliser (carrot, sweet potato, lime, celery and apple)

Lunch – 1pm: Sweetcorn fritters with smashed avocado, tomato and spinach

Smoothie – 3pm: The Green Goddess (cucumber, celery, kale, lime, apple and avocado)

Snack – 5pm: Cacao and coconut power balls

Dinner – 7pm Courgette pesto pasta with sunflower seed and basil, cherry tomatoes and mixed peppers

 

DAY THREE (Detox Day)

Breakfast – 9am: Cacao smoothie with dates, cashews, cacao, cinnamon and peanut butter

Juice – 11am: The Ruby Beats (with beetroot, red cabbage, carrot, lime and apple)

Lunch – 1pm: Super green pea and mint soup

Smoothie – 3pm: The Evergreens (cucumber, spinach, lemon, apple, avocado and rocket)

Snack – 5pm: Raw Granola bar with dates and apricots

Dinner – 7pm: Cauliflower and chickpea soup with roasted chickpeas

 

DAY FOUR

Breakfast – 9am: Smashed avocado served on homemade buckwheat and sun-dried tomato bread with homemade hummus, toasted seeds and pomegranate

Juice – 11am: The Roots (apple, beetroot, lime, parsnip, carrot

Lunch – 1pm: Homemade hummus and fresh crudities with a snack pot of dried fruits and mixed nuts

Smoothie – 3pm: The Carotene (carrot, apple, lemon, celery and avocado)

Snack – 5pm: Activated tamari, chilli and ginger almonds

Dinner – 7pm: Smoked pecan nut tacos in Romaine lettuce with creamy cashew cheese and a tomato and basil salsa

 

DAY FIVE

Breakfast – 9am: Sweet potato breakfast bowl with quinoa and savoury granola

Juice – 11am: The Energy Booster (apple, cucumber, celery, kale, lime)

Lunch – 1pm: Hummus baked cauliflower salad with red peppers, chickpeas and spinach

Smoothie – 3pm: The Blood Booster (carrot, beetroot, apple, lime, avocado)

Snack – 5pm: Chocolate flapjack bite

Dinner – 7pm: Celeriac steaks with sweet potato puree and caramelise carrot and red onion salad
